At the Maumee River Yacht Club you will discover over a century of tradition and excellence combined with enthusiasm and passion in everything we do.
Located on the banks of the beautiful Maumee River, MRYC has been a part of Toledo’s rich boating history for over 120 years. At one time, MRYC boasted more sailboats than any other area club.
Today, members of all vessels—big and small, wind or motor powered—call a MRYC slip home! Visit us dockside and experience the beauty for yourself.
MRYC OFFERS
Restaurant & Bar
The club offers casual dining in the main dining room, our patio, and Tap room, all with views of the Maumee River. Additionally, the club hosts a number of special dining events throughout the year, including cookouts, holiday brunches and dinners, and much more. There is always something to do, drink and eat at MRYC!
Boating & Dockage
Maumee River Yacht Club has 85 slips for its members, ranging from 30 ft. docks to 50 ft docks. There are 300 yards of dockage in front of the clubhouse and ample slips for visiting boaters. All docks have electricity and water hook-ups. The club docks are protected just inside of the Maumee River's small island chain.
Pool & Tiki Bar
MRYC is proud to be one of the very few yacht clubs in the western Lake Erie basin to offer an in-ground pool, complete with kiddie pool, kid's playground, sun deck, grilling areas, and an adjacent full-service bar with food service available.
While the pool area is not open to the public, AYC and ILYA members are welcome for a small daily fee.
Special Events
MRYC offers a variety of rooms for private events from corporate meetings, receptions, family gatherings, wakes/memorials and holiday parties. Whether you desire a simple meal or an elaborate five course dinner, our scratch kitchen offers creates something special for every type of event.
Club Events
Our members enjoy a variety of events throughout the year. In the Fall and Winter, the Tap Room is active with football games with food and drink specials. In Spring and Summer, the docks, boats, and pool call for fun in and on the water! Live entertainment at the pool, grilling out, enjoying the sun and each other!
